Briarcliff Residence | West Point, Georgia | 2023
David’s goal for this 1960s mid-century in West Point, Georgia, was to create a light-filled, gallery-like home that felt tailored yet warm and inviting. Statement-making light fixtures, painted concrete floors, and a central courtyard inspired by Luis Barragan’s Mexico City home create a dramatic reinvention of interiors that previously felt dark and stripped of character. Sculptural furnishings, patinated antiques, and layers of texture add the final touches—creating a home that connects with its history while finding its own way. Published in Frederic Magazine.
